DetailsGlibc comes with memusage (and memusagestat) which are both quite nice for profiling memory usage of programs. The man-pages project already contains a memusage(1) manual which you can read for more details.
In order for this to work glibc needs gd available, which is in extra. Is it possible to make gd an optdepend or makedepend in order to provide these tools in the official package? |
