Description:
I would like to request addition of feature where httpd.conf file has following line appended to it. IncludeOptional conf/local/*.conf (This can be done easily in PKGBUILD where many other customization are also made) Idea is that administrator should not need to change default httpd.conf file unless absolutely required. They can add their customization to local conf directory. This will make sure that future upgrades to apache - httpd.conf file will have all latest defaults / directives. (without having pacnew or pacsave) This idea is also implemented in many other packages where administrator DO NOT need to touch default package config files but they just put their customization in a dedicated directory and restart the service. So in my opinion, same should be done for Apache httpd too. Thank you Additional info: * package version(s) 2.4.25-1 * config and/or log files etc. httpd.conf |
