Using Xorg 7.1 from Testing, I can't change resolutions by
using Ctrl-Alt-+/- anymore. I am using the nvidia driver,
with a TwinView setup to clone my desktop to a TV for
playing games and watching videos.
I tried disabling all of my advanced options, and tried using the nv driver to no avail. The last line of my Xorg.0.log contains the only error, which was not present in 7.0: (EE) Error loading keymap /var/tmp/server-0.xkm I wonder if this is related. Ctrl-Alt-F1 still works for console switching, however. I've attached my xorg.conf file, in case that's useful to anyone. |
This task depends upon
xorg.conf
http://sources.gentoo.org/viewcvs.py/gentoo-x86/x11-base/xorg-server/files/1.1.1-fix-xrandr-zoom-keys.patch?rev=1.1&view=markup
or from Xorg git, with some stupid description that doesn't tell anything about the problem:

Will try to fix this tomorrow evening before things get moved to current.
