Think the issue is that JRE is not listed as a dependancy of JDK, even though there are symlinks from JDK pointing to files belonging to JRE, For example, /opt/java/jdk/bin/java points to ../jre/bin/java
Adding JRE as a dependancy of JDK should be the solution.
I've gone and done that in CVS. This problem should go away with the next release of the jdk package. At that point, we can close the bug.
