I maintain the AUR package editorconfig-core-c-git, after installing editorconfig-core-c-git then install python-editorconfig pacman reports that "usr/bin/editorconfig" already exist, In editorconfig-core-c-git, "usr/bin/editorconfig" is a link to "usr/bin/editorconfig-0.12.2". In python-editorconfig, "usr/bin/editorconfig" is a python script. Both versions seems to offer the same functionality. I want to ask what is the best practice to resolve this type of conflict? |
