It would be nice if cuda were enabled. The proprietary nvidia driver is borked with hevc hardware acceleration on vdpau, but it still works with cuda.

Just built packages for mpv 0.25.0, configure reports it found support for cuda:

Checking for CUDA hwaccel : yes

So does it work with this package? What else is needed? I do not own any Nvidia hardware.

It looks like cuda needs to be in makedepends. 0.24.0-2 to 0.25.0-1 were all build with cuda being around, so apparently it got picked up without it being in makedepends. It does not need to be around at runtime.

It has become available again automatically with ffmpeg 3.3, worked already with mpv 0.24.
