Description:
My kernel freezes with a NULL dereference when using the intel i915 driver and setting i915.enable_execlists=0 as a kernel parameter. A complete log of a failing boot is attached below. Additional info: The issue appeared after upgrading my system to the following package versions: Linux QGEL-PLUTO 4.10.2-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Mon Mar 13 17:13:41 CET 2017 x86_64 GNU/Linux lib32-mesa 17.0.1-2 mesa 17.0.1-2 xf86-video-intel 1:2.99.917+760+ge9cd8c21-1 Hardware is an ASUS UX303LN notbook. Steps to reproduce: Set the i915.enable_execlists=0 parameter and boot. |
