DetailsAccording to http://ipw3945.sourceforge.net/#requirements, the ipw3945 wifi drivers require a more recent ieee80211 package than at least beyond3 has, so I assume it applies to the stock kernel as well (isn't beyond buildt upon arch stock kernel?)
Current ieee80211 version in beyond is 1.1.7 and the requirement is 1.1.13, that may be the reason of the sometimes abysmal performace I get over wifi. |
