Firefox's 52 package suggests to install upower to have access to Battery API, but it was removed in this version: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/52.0/releasenotes/

I think that the message can be updated, Battery API is removed only for normal apps, privileged apps can use this API https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Battery_Status_API
