When using the atom editor, based on electron on the grsecurity kernel, the application crashes, leaving the following error messages: /usr/bin/atom: line 58: 1079 Segmentation fault (core dumped) nohup $ATOM_PATH --executed-from="$(pwd)" --pid=$$ "$@" > "$ATOM_HOME/nohup.out" 2>&1 grsec: denied RWX mmap of <anonymous mapping> by /usr/lib/electron/electron[electron:1079] uid/euid:1000/1000 gid/egid:100/100, parent /usr/bin/atom[atom:1077] uid/euid:1000/1000 After adding "em /usr/bin/electron" to paxd.conf the app starts normally. This exception should be the default and probably affects other electron apps as well. |
