DetailsDescription:
Upgrading xorg-server and xorg-server-common from 1.19.1-5 to 1.19.2-1 breaks external monitor output. I can see the mouse moving on the external monitor but there are no windows. The backgound is a snapshot of the laptop monitor just before extending the desktop or cloning for that matter. The laptop is a Lenovo T530 with optimus enabled and running xf86-video-intel and xf86-video-nouveau. Output is set as xrandr --setprovideroutputsource nouveau Intel. The external monitor is connected to the Mini DisplayPort. Let me know if you need more information. Additional info: * cinnamon 3.2.8-2, xf86-video-nouveau 1.0.13-2, xf86-video-intel 1:2.99.917+760+ge9cd8c21-1, mesa 17.0.1-1 Steps to reproduce: Upgrade xorg-server and xorg-server-common from 1.19.1-5 to 1.19.2-1 |
This task depends upon
xorg-server, xorg-video-intel, displaylink
downgrading xorg-server was enough for me.
