Description:

After using my laptop usb 3.0 port, the suspend operation fails, waking up immediately.

Following the ubuntu bug report below, i managed to suspend the system after a "modprobe -r xhci_pci" command.

As the file doesn't exist in Arch Linux, i didn't try the permanent workaround.

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/522998

Is there some permanent solution for this problem ?

Additional info:
* kernels: linux 4.9.11-1, linux-lts 4.9.13-1
* systemd 232-8
* the only new message that appeared after trying and failing to suspend in "journalctl -p err..alert" command was:
kernel: usb 1-1.1: device descriptor read/64, error -110

Steps to reproduce:
Try to suspend laptop after using a usb 3.0 external hard drive.

This isn't directly kernel related.

Check https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Power_management/Suspend_and_hibernate - this is more a system configuration issue. You may ask in irc or forum for help.
