nvidia-dkms fails with kernel 4.10-1. The 4.10 patch is at fault. This patch works - (I built locally using a modified version of you PKGBUILD - if you want it I still have it, but it's a trivial edit).

I can only comment on x86_64, I don't know if i686 is similarly affected.

Not seeing this on nvidia 378.13-3 (4.10.1-1-ARCH x86_64)

OK, after waiting a few days, and further nvidia updates (utils, cuda, etc) the upgrade to linux 4.10.1 has now successfully completed with nvidia. I'm guessing just a game of catchup.
