Description:
It would be nice to have sqlite compiled with --enable-readline=yes to have readline support in sqlite shell. The sqlite package depends on readline already.

From configure --help --enable-readline seems to be the default option. I've tested adding your option and configure.log doens't change. The sqlite3 binary is already linked to libreadline.

So please confirm what isn't working and how to properly fix it.
