Description:
Updating to mesa{-libgl}-17.0.0-2 breaks my X server (I get a black screen).

Additional info:
mesa-{-libgl}-17.0.0-1 works just fine.
Attached the logs of the working (Xorg.0.log) and failing (Xorg.1.log) mesa versions.
All other packages are up to date.
Failure started with GLX failing to create contexts after update of packages shown in pacman.log.
After first reboot after update, screen was black.
Downgrading mesa{-libgl} to previous v17 fixed the issue.

In the mesa package history, I see that some recent changes might lie at the basis of this failure.

I also see that the most recent version is -2, even though there is a previous -2 and even a -3 *before* that.
For reference, the bad package I has this comment in .PKGINFO:
# Generated by makepkg 5.0.1
# using fakeroot version 1.21

I see that I have reported this under Community packages. Shall I open a clone on the proper task list or can a moderator move this one?

From the failed xorg log (xorg.1.log), the failure is related to the the drm device ([195344.433] (EE) /dev/dri/card0: failed to set DRM interface version 1.4: Permission denied) and should not be related to mesa.

The rebuild of mesa (17.0.0-2) is only related to the removal of conflicting with libgl, libgles and libegl.

I use a laptop with an ivybridge chipset (x230) without any problems
