Details

After upgrading nvidia 375.26 -> 378.13, after turning monitor off and on,
plasma completely breaks and it needs to be restarted. Not sure if specific
to plasma or X in general, I rebooted the whole system.

I suspect it does a similar thing also with suspend/resume, but didn't try that. Had weird glitches there already with 375.

Here is a video of the glitch https://twitter.com/MightyPork/status/832905575637929984

using x86_64 (i5), Nvidia GTX 960, display 1920x1200 via DisplayPort

I tried to downgrade too, and broke my xorg in the process, then I couldn't get back cause systemd kept
switching back to tty1 every 1 second. Anyway, managed to regain shell, tried lots of things, and then
gave up and upgraded everything again.

And I can't repro the issue anymore! Really don't know, if it's something I did, or there was a new patch...

Here is my pachist log - lots of downgrading and upgrading. If anyone can make any conclusions from there

Is there anything we can do in Arch to fix this? I don't think it's a packaging issue.
Comment by Vitaliy (vitaliy-kuzmich) - Wednesday, 01 March 2017, 08:01 GMT
