Detailseventhough the CD has kernel 2.6.3, I believe the Rescue CD is not able to mount vfat and/or ntfs (it mounts reiserfs and ext3 only?). If I'm correct on that, then I believe that 's not very good. Someone in the process of rescuing he may need to play with files downloading by friends or by himself via Windows [eg. vfat, ntfs].
So I strongly believe that Rescue CD should be able to do those fs too. |
This task depends upon
# modprobe vfat
# mount -t vfat /dev/discs/disc0/part1 /mnt
