Since mpv is in community, not extra, this bug should have been reported to Community packages. Making this bug impossible to find from the mpv page's "Bug Reports" link...

And I cannot fathom why you decided to flag mpv as out of date, using the justification that "it isn't out of date, but please see this bug report about rebuilding it against ffmpeg anyway". Do you even know what "out of date" means?
