I have found that with an up-to-date system (Pacman v5.0.1 and libalpm v10.0.1) pacman does not recognise the '-c' option nor the '--changelog' one which are documented in the manpage. I am just presented with an error such as this one:

error: invalid option '--changelog'

This is rather annoying.

What command are you running?

Well, I have tried running both things like:

pacman -c firefox

And:

pacman --changelog firefox

But none seem to work, am I doing something wrong?

From man pacman:

QUERY OPTIONS (APPLY TO -Q)
-c, --changelog
View the ChangeLog of a package if it exists.

So "pacman -Qc firefox". But almost no packages have changelogs on any distribution using pacman.
