While perf ships with the GTK+ interface, the required libperf-gtk.so is installed into /usr/lib/perf, but said directory is not added to the dynamic linker’s search path. Additional info: * perf 4.9-1 Steps to reproduce: # perf record sleep 1 && perf report --gtk [ perf record: Woken up 1 times to write data ] [ perf record: Captured and wrote 0.019 MB perf.data (10 samples) ] GTK browser requested but could not find libperf-gtk.so |
