My estimate is that it occurs 30% of the time. I use: systemctl suspend. I cannot confirm that this happens due to some specific application.
In case of suspend failure: The charging light of the battery (when not plugged) starts blinking and this happens for around a minute until the system goes to poweroff.
Just for today 2 suspends failed, I had to start the system again.
this seems a low-level problem
Edit 1;I was lucky to get the bios upgrade, using the bios function. But some firmware updates arent possible via this technique.
Plus I am experiencing suspend failure still, but it has greatly reduced to about 5%, from previous 20%.
