Description:
The package pacman is missing gzip as an (optional) dependency. Additional info: * 5.0.1-4 * x86_64 * Only affects minimalistic build systems if no other packages require gzip as a dependency. Steps to reproduce: 1) Set up a minimalistic system: # pacstrap -d /dir pacman 2) Run: # repo-elephant 3) Get: /usr/bin/repo-elephant: line 536: gzip: command not found |

Is there a need for gzip other than this easter egg?
Being that this is part of both the base and base-devel groups,
I'm tempted to just close this anyway. It definitely should not be
a dep because of repo-elephant
