Details

I have AMD Athelon 2100+. I am trying to install Arch Linux 0.7.2 from a CD that I downloaded.
After selecting base packages only, I get the following error:

Package Installation Failed

Same error is obtained if all packages are selected.

sounds to me like a broken install cd, try to burn a new one on a normal CDR and don't use CDRW media
