After upgrading to the Linux kernel version 4.9.6-1 from the previous 4.8.x version I have noticed the following errors on startup:

Apart from the errors I haven't noticed anything problematically different. I have a Lenovo B590 machine.

Although I am not new to Linux, I am reasonably new to Arch Linux so please do let me know if there is any other information I need to provide.

Reason for closing:  Not a bug
Additional comments about closing:  Error reporting just became more verbose

Same here after upgrading to 4.9.6-1.
A quick look into the journal revealed that these are at least on my machine no new error messages but happen everytime at boot up even before the kernel upgrade.

They previously just got logged and were not displayed at startup like they do now.
Anyway it would still be good to know the cause of these errors.

Running:
4.9.6-1-ARCH
Lenovo E330
