DetailsThe xulrunner package should contain an install file adding it's library path to /etc/ld.so.conf. Attached is an (untested) install file that should solve the issue.

This is by design. As long as other mozilla products don't use xulrunner, we don't want those to pick up the libraries. It's perfectly possible to build a package with a hard-linked runpath in the libraries and binaries (check epiphany PKGBUILD for example).
