Description:
After todays upgrade Xorg started to coredump every few minutes: http://pastebin.com/raw/tb2H1aKX Additional info: * libinput driver in use * intel GPU driver in use * fully upgraded system Steps to reproduce: upgraded xf86-input-libinput (0.22.0-1 -> 0.23.0-1) upgraded xf86-video-intel (1:2.99.917+746+g169c74f-1 -> 1:2.99.917+747+g028c946 d-1) upgraded xorg-fonts-misc (1.0.3-4 -> 1.0.3-5) upgraded xorg-server-common (1.18.4-1 -> 1.19.1-1) upgraded xorg-server (1.18.4-1 -> 1.19.1-1) upgraded xorg-server-xwayland (1.18.4-1 -> 1.19.1-1) Workaround for me was to downgrade these packages. I could not downgrade intel GPU drivers only because of incompatibility. Please let me know if you need that core dumps. Thank you! |

It seems, fedora started to roll out the proposed patches on its own as there seems to be no active work on getting them into the intel driver / xorg so far.
The common reason for these crashes seems to be a rotated or scaled screen.
