Description:
vlc seg-faults when attempting to play video files

Compiler: gcc version 6.3.1 20170109 (GCC)

* tested with mp4, m4v, mkv files. That's all I have.


Steps to reproduce:
Try to play any video file with vlc:
$ vlc some_video.{mkv, mp4, m4v, ...}

vlc also tells me about some corrupt modules on startup, might be helpful?
