Description:
The screen is blinking off and complete black, with nothing appearing. On installing and enabling xdm, the xdm is working ok.

I see you have the gtk-greeter installed, but is that what you're actually using?

yes. As the wiki says it is the preferred greeter.

As of fresh install, I havent installed anything from AUR. For reassuring:
