The package should makedepend on intltool. Maybe the maintainer didn't have intltool installed.

yes, you're right. i rebuilt the latest version with the PKGBUILD from the package in extra and i have the .desktop files again.

there are also some dependency problems with the package in extra: gstreamer0.10-gconf is required when i install quodlibet, which installs gnome-common here too.
when i install and remove another gnome package after that, the dependency of quodlibet on gstreamer0.10-gconf is ignored and gnome-common and he gconf stuff are removed. quodlibet however is not removed. gstreamer0.10-gconf doesn't show in pacman -Qi quodlibet in the dependencies. this was also fixed with my rebuilt package, so something's not right with the package in extra....

You sure about that second one? I can't find any Quod Libet config stuff in gconf, and AFAIK it's supposed to be independent of Gnome.

phhrakture added gstreamer0.10-gconf as a dependency because it is used to automatically determine the used audiosink.

Okay, there's a new version of Quod Libet out... Hopefully we'll see this fixed in the updated version in a couple of days.

Quod Libet is still outdated and still needs recompile with intltool. Where the heck is Aaron Griffin?
