Details
Description: After having done a few text searches with /
and a few command-line commands, q/ brings up a window of
recent searches and q: one of recent commands. In both cases
I can navigate to a selection, but hitting Enter key on that
selection non longer runs that selected search or command,
as it should.
Additional info: * package version 8.0.0170-1 (i686 & x86_64) * output of Vim's :version command attached * I uninstalled this gvim, and built from GitHub source (brammool patch 8.0.0204) - command-line window selections work as expected. Steps to reproduce: On a fresh install of Arch Linux, with some kind of window manager installed, install gvim with no extra configurations, do at least two searches, execute at least two comands from the Vim command line, then try q/ and q:. Suggested fix: I've just noticed that the upstream commit for patch 8.0.0172 in fact has comment "command line window does not work". So fix is simply to update this Arch package. |
