Details
Starting from version 1.63, boost python includes support
for numpy arrays. Would it be possible to have python-numpy
and python2-numpy as optional dependencies?

Attached you find a patch solving this feature request, you might
want to add python-numpy and python2-numpy as optional
dependencies.
This is rather confusing since the boost/python/numpy header files
are packaged, but the shared libraries aren't.
Yes, the shared libraries should be included as well. Also there
seems to be no need to include python(2)-numpy as dependencies, a
build dependency is enough. So why not include it in the official
package?
