Details

1. When gnome-cups-manager is started from a terminal, "** (gnome-printer-view:2309): WARNING **: IPP request failed with status 1030" and/or "** (gnome-cups-add:2320): WARNING **: IPP request failed with status 1030" will be printed out in the terminal every few seconds. I don't know what, if anything, this has to do with the two following bugs.

2. Gnome-cups-manager doesn't show any drivers, models, or manufacturers in Step 2 of adding a new printer.

3. Probably not a bug, but gnome-cups-manager is unable to take advantage of sudo. It does not accept the password used for sudo, only the root password. Gnome-cups-manager does seem to be able to use sudo on Ubuntu, so I'm guessing this is a missing compile option; on the other hand, I've never used Ubuntu, so it might be the case that they just add another group that can administer CUPS and put the non-root admin user into it.
