Description:

After update to the latest Nvidia-340xx driver I cannot boot into the desktop manager and got the following message:

a tpm error (7) occurred attempting to read a pcr value
driver nvidia is already registered, aborting..

Is there any workaround to deal with this issue?

You haven't even told us what "desktop manager" means. Without more info, specifically logs, this is totally useless.

I'm using Gnome as desktop manager, but seems that it's not related to it. I couldn't pick a log because I did rollback to the core packages.
But I'll be glad if I can collaborate. Lemme know which logs you need and I'll switch back to testing to grab those logs..
