Putting this to critical so people will notice it when filing other applications. I don't want to have 20 bugs for one problem.

The packages from your bugreport have been rebuilt, except for gimp which was broken because of libwmf.

lddd script shows here also:
gimp (gimp is still starting but a plugin is broken)
/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/wmf:
libexpat.so.0 => not found
kismet
/usr/bin/gpsmap:
libexpat.so.0 => not found

As Tobias said, gimp's wmf plugin links directly to expat:
$ readelf -d /usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/wmf | grep expat
0x00000001 (NEEDED) Shared library: [libexpat.so.0]

BMPx is another application that needs to be fixed.

$ beep-media-player-2-bin --no-log
libexpat.so.0 => no such file

Cheers,
Blind
