This might be fixed by switching to the CMake build system, as there are some known issues with the autotools system (upstream is planning to drop autotools in the future).

cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr -Dsysconfdir=/etc .
make
make install

In the PKGBUILD should do it.

might want to specify your hardware. Illegal instruction usually means it's trying to use CPU features that your CPU doesn't have.

The difference between Sandy Bridge and Nehalem-C are flags:
tsc_deadline_timer xsave avx xsaveopt

Also crashing for me on an Intel NUC NUC5CPYH with Intel Celeron CPU N3050 (cpuinfo attached).

Crashing on: 2x Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU 5140 @ 2.33GHz (HP Workstation xw6400)

Working fine on: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5930K CPU @ 3.50GHz

It stopped crashing on my machines after some time, can it be an issue with some of its deps?
