As the title suggests, the bitcoin-daemon package doesn't include the bitcoind.service, although it is shipped by upstream:

https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/blob/master/contrib/init/bitcoind.service

Please include this in the official bitcoin-daemon package so that it's easier to start the bitcoind service.
