I'd personally like brcmfmac43602-pcie back. Thanks. :)

And I note that linux-firmware-20161222.4b9559f-1 has 436 less files and is 14 MB lighter than 20161205.91ddce4-1.

as a temporary solution i installed linux-firmware-git from aur, and got wifi on my intel card back

The package in testing is missing a lot of firmware as noted. However, when I rebuild the package from the PKGBUILD in testing I get a fully working package with all the firmware back. The difference in size between the packages is 80Mb. Since I get such a different result from using the same PKGBUILD then perhaps something went wrong during building.

Adding linux-firmware-git instead of linux-firmware doesn't seem to change anything on my intel based laptop. Still stuck on loading initial ramdisk. I installed linux-lts to make my computer really booting.
