Detailswhen trying to print a html page in konqueror the dialog hangs
same if you try printing text from kwrite for example it shows on console: WARNING: KFilterBase::findFilterByExtension : no filter found for text/plain it seems to be bug: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=73041 it is not fixed in arch yet the bug happens only if you are using cups! setting printing to LPD works also printing from non kde apps using kprinter works the upcoming 3.2.1 will fix it i think because |
This task depends upon
use LPD or generic LPD in settings as workaround till then
KPDF, kghostview etc don't give any errors but print the correct ammount of pages - unfortunately they are blank
with external programs i mean OO or Mozilla
they print without a problem KDE 3.2.1 is out and will hopefully soon build
i think then it's solved
have some hours patience :-)
please close the bug
