Description:
X completely froze 4 times, requiring a reboot, within the first 15 minutes of installing xorg-server 1.19.0-3 from testing. Usually happened when opening a new application window--the window borders would render but no window content. Mouse cursor would still move but could not click on anything. Downgrading to the version from extra (1.18.4-1) appears to have fixed the problem. Additional info: * package version(s) linux 4.8.13-1 xorg-server-1.19.0-3 xf86-video-intel 1:2.99.917+746+g169c74f-2 mesa 13.0.2-2 xfwm4 4.12.3-2 compton 0.1_beta2.5-4 * config and/or log files etc. Using DRI2 (but probably irrelevant?) Steps to reproduce: 1. Boot up the system. 2. Start any graphical application. |
