Details

As of v6.03, syslinux now supports XFS. (See http://www.syslinux.org/wiki/index.php?title=Filesystem#XFS)

The syslinux-install_update script should be updated to include XFS as one of its supported file systems.

I do not have a setup with XFS.

Could you please make a patch, test and share it with us?

The patch is trivial. All I had to do was make the attached change.
