DetailsDescription:
In the most recent update of mpd, it appears that the systemd service files were either no packaged, or have gone missing in some other way. I tried reinstalling mpd just to make sure that I hadn't deleted the systemd service files myself. Even though mpd appears to be missing it's systemd service files, it is still working correctly when manually launched, making this a low priority issue. Additional info: * package version(s) pacman -Qs mpd local/mpd 0.19.20-2 Flexible, powerful, server-side application for playing music * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: 1. Install mpd and ncmpcpp 2. Issue command: systemctl --user start mpd.service 3. Scratch head at the error message: Failed to start mpd.service: Unit mpd.service not found. |

If you rely on mpd providing systemd user service files, the proper course of action is for you to ask upstream to incorporate those files in their source tree.
