I can't follow all of that, think you can provide a bit less information?

Hi, sorry for the short description.
I've noticed from my automated crons runnning scala scripts, that since a few days i get the Error Message :
"cat: /release: no such file or directory"
It's directly from scala, if you run just "scala" from Terminal, you'll see the message too.
I have no Idea what it means.

I've tested this with 4 differnet setups:
Stable Repos -> scala was installed before -> error appears.
Testing Repos -> scala was installed before -> error appears.
Stable Repos -> scala was never installed before -> error appears.
Testing Repos -> scala was never installed before -> error appears.

To reproduce it: just install the "scala" package and run "scala" you'll see this message.

Ah, it's trying to use $JAVA_HOME; it shouldn't assume that's set.
