Description:
Hugin doesn't work, only works as root

I am using 4.8.12-2-ARCH, I attached the errors logs, the version is Hugin 2016 running over XFCE4. Regards!!

I cannot reproduce your error. However, I note that in your error log everything above "The program 'hugin' received an X Window System error" is expected.

Could you please make sure your system is fully up-to-date (run `pacman -Syu`) and try hugin-2016.2.0-3 from [testing]?

Hi Gaetan, thanks for your reply, I just updated my system today, but hugin only works as root. I go to try the testing version tomorrow, Regards!!

There's something seriously wrong with "hugin only working as root". What's the issue if you run hugin as a user?

When I run as user, only displays the first screen with credits and next the system crash and display (when I execute in a terminal) the log that I attached

I just installed testing version, I have the same problem, only run as root, I attached the log when I execute in root mode

Hugin should not behave differently when run as root. I suggest you create a second user account on your machine and run hugin from it. It if works, this would confirm that the issue is with your primary user account. Perhaps Hugin's cache or config files were corrupted? Then you should clean up ~/.hugin (and possibly other files/locations) and see if that helps.
