Description:
Libreoffice Calc has a "linear solver" engine built-in.

So when I bring up "Tools/Solver", there is an "options" button where I able to tweak the settings of all the solver engines installed.

But in my case I don't see this solver engine. I can only change the settings of the non-linear solvers, which were installed by the means of an extension.

Tried to start with a clean user config, but the linear solver does not show.
According to the documentation there is also no special switch to turn this feature on (there was also none in Libreoffice 4).
So I assume it has something to do with the build process. I saw that "lpsolve" is a dependency and it is also present on my box.
Does this have to be specifically enabled in PKGBUILD? I saw a similar switch for the non-linear solver (nlpsolver)!

thanks for your assistance
Peter

Do you have coin-or-mp installed?

Sorry, no. Just "lpsolve"
