Upon attempting to go to a SSL website, I get an error like this:

Unexpected response from server
Firefox doesn't know how to communicate with the server.
* Check to make sure your system has the Personal Security Manager
installed.

* This might be due to a non-standard configuration on the server.

I also found that there are no root certs listed in the certificate box. I'm not sure if that is the issue or something bigger. I get no 'unknown cert' warning when going to the sites, just the page with the text as above. Searching the wiki/forum didn't turn up anything, so here I am. If I'm being a dolt (very possible), please smack me and send me on my way. I upgraded today from 1.5.0 (I believe).

Did you update nss to the latest version (3.11.1-1) aswell? I can't reproduce it here, did you try more than one site? Also, could you start firefox from a terminal and see if it spits out any errors?

Hi...I hadn't updated nss manually. I did that--It also took nspr to 4.6.2-1 as a dependency--and all is good. Perhaps nss at a certain version should be a dependency of Firefox? Unless it's this way on purpose...

Thanks for looking. Let me know if you want me to do anything else.
