Details

The latest scite version from extra does not support tabs (can be enabled via a config file option). If I open a file in a new tab, this last tab overrides all others, i.e. in all other tabs this last file appears. This was not the case in my arch build from the scintilla/scite repository. No clue why that happens.

I think this is the behaviour Philipp is trying to describe:

In the version of SciTE in extra (1.70), clicking on tabs with more than one file open doesn't work, the contents of the text buffer always reflect that of the last tab opened, regardless of which tab is clicked on. Using the shortcut key F6 instead of clicking to cycle through the tabs, however, works.

I've tested SciTE 1.71 which was released over a fortnight ago and it fixes this bug.
