The current package is linked against the old version (as of 15.11) of postgres. Can you recompile to package to match the new postgresql server? Postgis 2.3 is still the latest version - so this report is not about outdated package. postgres=# CREATE EXTENSION postgis; ERROR: incompatible library "/usr/lib/postgresql/postgis-2.3.so": version mismatch DETAIL: Server is version 9.6, library is version 9.5. Additional info: * package version(s) postgis-2.3.0-1 | postgresql 9.6.1-3 Steps to reproduce: * upgrade postgres * create fresh db with initdb * try to CREATE EXTENSION postgis |
