Description:
Firefox 50.0-1 crashing randomly. This was not an issue in the previous version (49). Also happening with a fresh profile, no add-ons. Additional info: (firefox:13411): Gdk-ERROR **: The program 'firefox' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadAccess (attempt to access private resource denied)'. (Details: serial 38114 error_code 10 request_code 130 (MIT-SHM) minor_code 1) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the GDK_SYNCHRONIZE environment variable to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) Steps to reproduce: Browse random websites long enough; segfaults happen about twice a day with moderate usage. |

Caught this error earlier: https://ptpb.pw/Q-5G
Issue was not present after downgrading to 49.0.2.
Go to https://openstreetmap.us/iD/release/ , click "edit" and zoom/move the map around. Crashes after less than one second for me.
I've tried to run it with GDK_SYNCHRONIZE but then (unfortunately?) the bug does not appear...

Can't get it to crash on the OpenStreetMap page.
Note: That is not the only place the crash occurs for me..

I've reported this upstream.
