Cinnamon desktop stops working after updating to Readline 7, cinnamon still looks for libreadline.so.6 Additional info: I solved it temporarlly adding a symbolic link "libreadline.so.6" to "libreadline.so.7.0", i'll remove it as soon as the problem is fixed, hope you guys can get to it soon. Steps to reproduce: Simply update and try to log in with Cinnamon Desktop Thanks in advance |

I can confirm this. I fixed this by downgrading to bash 4.3.046-1 and readline 6.3.008-4 (since bash 4.4 depends on readline 7).
