Description:
The following change removes the 'masq' file from the 'backup' array https://git.archlinux.org/svntogit/community.git/commit/trunk?h=packages/shorewall&id=26b87f5fd46fa0cc48901d68004b1ea03246769c
Therefore after upgrade the file is not preserved and renamed to masq.pacsave and rendering any NAT functionality unusable.

In 5.0.14-1 /etc/shorewall/masq was deprecated in favor of /etc/shorewall/snat https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Shorewall#.2Fetc.2Fshorewall.2Fmasq

It's been removed from the backup array because it's no longer included in the package (see previous comment).

pacman keeps the file around by renaming it to masq.pacsave; it's up to you to handle this upstream change.
